Snail Facebook Pixel: Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Snail Facebook Pixel application ("App"), developed and operated by Snail Facebook Pixel ("we", "us", or "our").

The App is built for and distributed through the Wix platform. By installing, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not install or use the App.

2. Description of the Service

Snail Facebook Pixel provides tools that allow merchants to:

• Integrate Meta (Facebook) Pixel into their Wix store
• Track standard and custom events (such as PageView, AddToCart, Purchase)
• Send conversion data via Meta Conversion API (CAPI)
• Improve event tracking reliability between client-side and server-side

The App is provided free of charge at this time.

3. Eligibility

By using the App, you confirm that:

• You are the lawful owner or authorized administrator of the Wix store
• You have legal rights to use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel and related accounts
• You comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and platform policies

4. Merchant Responsibilities

You acknowledge and agree that you are solely responsible for:

• Obtaining all required user consents (e.g. cookie consent, tracking consent)
• Complying with privacy and data protection laws, including but not limited to:
  • GDPR
  • CCPA
  • ePrivacy Directive
• Ensuring compliance with Meta / Facebook policies
• The accuracy, legality, and use of all data sent through the App

The App acts solely as a technical integration tool and does not provide legal advice or compliance guarantees.

5. Data Access & Processing

To provide its functionality, the App may access and process certain store data, including but not limited to:

• Page and event activity
• Product and cart interactions
• Order and purchase data (e.g. value, currency, product identifiers)

Data is processed only for the purpose of event tracking and transmission to Meta services via Pixel and Conversion API.

We do not sell merchant or end-user data.

6. Conversion API & Server-Side Data

The App utilizes Meta Conversion API, which involves transmitting certain event data from server-side systems.

You acknowledge that:

• Server-side tracking may store or process event data temporarily
• Event delivery is dependent on external services (Meta, network conditions)
• Event accuracy may vary and is not guaranteed

7. Third-Party Services Disclaimer

Snail Facebook Pixel is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Meta Platforms, Inc.

"Facebook", "Meta", and "Meta Pixel" are trademarks of Meta Platforms, Inc.

We are not responsible for changes, restrictions, suspensions, or limitations imposed by Meta or Wix.

8. No Warranty

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

We do not warrant that:

• The App will be error-free or uninterrupted
• Event tracking will be 100% accurate
• Ads or pixels will be approved by Meta
• The App will meet specific business expectations

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Snail Facebook Pixel shall not be liable for:

• Loss of revenue or profits
• Advertising performance issues
• Data discrepancies or tracking inaccuracies
• Account suspensions by third-party platforms
• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

Your sole remedy is to discontinue use of the App.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the App at any time, with or without notice.

You may uninstall the App at any time through the Wix App Manager.

Upon termination, all licenses granted under these Terms will immediately cease.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

Continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with general principles of international commercial law, without reference to any specific national jurisdiction.
